Luke's 2025 Steer Project

Hello,

My name is Luke Trautman.  I am a member of Cascade Cattle 4-H Club. This is my first year showing in 4-H, but I have been showing as a peewee for the past two years at livestock shows.  I just finished the 4th grade.  My hobbies include drums, basketball, soccer, football and livestock.

My steer this year is named Cash.  I named him Cash because I hope he makes me rich when I sell him at fair.  Cash is a heavy muscled, big bodied, very fluffy steer and has really calmed down and become more gentle the more I have worked with him.  I can even put my arms around his neck and hug him.  I expect Cash to be close to 1,400 pounds at fair and he will be finished and ready to eat.  He will most likely be the best tasting steer at the County Fair!

I would like to invite you to the Jackson County Steer Auction on Saturday, July 19th at 7:00pm.  Before the auction, there is a barbecue at 5:00pm.  I would really love to see you at the fair to introduce you to Cash.  Be careful, he might lick you!

Sincerely,

Cascade Cattle
